How much is this going to cost? This is where we always ask, 'What's your budget per person?' And, unfortunately this is where the wild west happens. There's an unrealistic expectation that you can have appetizers, pasta dishes, pizza, salads, and homemade dessert for $100 to feed 40 people. This is where the math comes in. Stay with me here. $100 divided by 40 people is a budget of $2.50 per person. I'm sorry. We can't help you. **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** If your budget is $10 per person we can help you but you'll have to augment your dinner party with some of your own food. Let's do some pizza math. One large thin signature pizza is $42. Two slices for each person equals 4 people for one large thin crust. ($10.50 per person ) You'll need 10 large thin crusts to feed 40 people, 2 slices each. ($42 X 10 pizzas = $420) You can reduce your cost by getting a couple just cheese $24 (divided by 4 people = $6 per person) Or even make a few pepperoni $28.50 ( divided by 4 people = $7.13 per person) ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** This is all based on everyone getting 2 slices of pizza. So, let's say we get: 2 plain cheese (2 X 24 = 48) 2 pepperoni ( 2 X 28.50 = 57) 6 signature pizzas ( 6 X 42 = 252) 48 + 57 + 252 = 357.00 ($357.00 divided by 40 = $8.93 per person) ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** So, although it is possible to keep the cost down you also have to keep in mind who's coming. Small kids eat almost nothing. You'll be lucky to get half a slice of pizza in them as they're usually very excited and running around. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Women will ask where's the salad? Fruit platter? Apps? And eat two slices of pizza over the course of the evening. ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Men. All bets are off. I've seen many men eat an entire large pizza themselves. Yes, you can give them 2 slices, some salad and fruit, but they will be hungry and wanting more food. Please put this in your calculations. I'm not saying to add more pizza or pasta or apps or anything else we have to offer. I'm just giving you a heads up in you equations. Nobody wants a bunch of grumbly hungry men at a party. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* I hope this helps you out. And please remember, we're just an email or phone call away to help out. *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** P.S. If you want to do a 'build your own pizza party' we have to do it here. Take care.
